About registration appointments
- A registration appointment refers to the date and time you are first able to register for courses in the upcoming academic session.
- If you are enrolled in more than one program, you will be assigned two registration appointments. For example, you may be an undergraduate dual degree student. In this case, you can register in courses for both programs on your earliest registration date.
- Registration appointments are assigned 2 to 3 weeks before the start of an upcoming session registration period. You’ll receive an email about a week before you can register for courses.
How to view your registration appointment
First, go to your Academics app
- Log into your Workday account at myworkday.ubc.ca.
- Click the “Academics” tab in the “Your Top Apps” menu on the right side of the page.
Next, go to your registration appointment
- Click the “Registration & Courses” tab in the top menu.
- Your registration appointment date and time will be listed in a table on the left side of this page.

When your registration appointment opens, you can register from a saved schedule or register for individual course sections.
